January 7th Beach Cleanup

Happy New Year! We are on for the 1st Saturday of the month Beach Cleanup! It will take place at 54th Street and Seashore drive, 3 PM to 5 PM.

Parking should not be a problem, but bring some quarters just in case you have to use the metered parking.

Come on down and get a free reusable mug!

    I will be coming with my boys and they may bring a friend or two. Do we need to bring anything and can you sign my son’s service hours form?

    Great questions and I will make a note of it in Beach Cleanup posts in the future. When people under the age of 18 come without their parent/guardian we need them to bring a signed release form. Regarding community hours performed certificates we are authorized to sign those for anyone who participates and we usually have our own on hand. I will send you the form and try to put one on the site today as well.

    Ok I put a link to the release form and later I’ll try to get a form to download. For now you will have to copy and paste the form to your own computer, word or other and print it out. Here is the link. You will have to copy and paste the link into your browsers address bar.

    Do you know when the next clean up will be in Feb? Is it always thev1st Sat of the month?

    February 4 3:00 to 5:00 PM. Come join us 54th street. Need a release form for kids to be dropped off.
